Use your phone’s capabilities TO maximum

GPS

Keep in mind that GPS is a big battery consumer, therefore we have included features to minimize its effect on your cell phone’s life. Different platforms have different ways to control GPS, so your app might look slightly different from what is shown here, yet we have the battery saving mode for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone platforms.

ADVICE: On your hunt day, try to minimize the mobile usage that’s not related to hunting, so your battery lasts longer. Turn off the apps you don’t need that run in the background.

LIFEHACK: You can also invest in an extra battery for your phone. Some of them come in a form of a phone cover, which is very convenient.

LOCATION UPDATES (iPhone only)

You have two modes of updating your Location:

  • High – Use when moving in terrain
  • Low – Use when staying at same spot

Location Update in Low position influences battery consumption positively but also decrease the quality of tracks.
